We have exciting news about the future of your skin care at ReDefine Medical Spa:
Expected October 2025, ReDefine Medical Spa will merge with Western Missouri Medical Center’s new dermatology clinic to form Western Missouri Dermatology & Medical Aesthetics. This move is part of our ongoing commitment to provide medically driven, comprehensive skin care services to the Johnson County community.
Dermatology has been one of the most requested services by both patients and providers in our community for years. We’re proud to meet this need with the addition of Jessica L. Muelleman, FNP, who brings 16 years of nursing experience and specialized dermatology training. Jessica completed an internship at Advanced Dermatologic Surgery in Overland Park, KS, and trained with Dr. David Fieleke, a double board-certified dermatologist with Cornerstone Dermatology & Surgery Group in Lee’s Summit, MO—to support the development of services at our new clinic. This partnership with Cornerstone allows us to provide advanced dermatologic care right here at home.
Dr. Angela Phelps will continue as Medical Director and collaborator for the medical aesthetics side, ensuring services are delivered with the highest medical standards. Makenzie Evinger, MSN, FNP-BC, will continue to see patients on Fridays.
What This Means for You
At Western Missouri Dermatology & Medical Aesthetics, conveniently located inside Western Missouri Medical Center, you’ll continue to receive high-quality care with a strong medical foundation. Our focus will expand to include both general dermatology and medical aesthetic services, enabling us to provide more complete care for your skin health—from routine skin checks and medical dermatology to advanced skin treatments.
Discontinued Services
Due to staffing constraints, all aesthetician services will conclude on August 29, 2025. This will also be the final day to utilize any membership services. We will NOT be charging any cards on file for the month of September for memberships.
The following spa services will no longer be available after August 29, 2025:
- Facials, Hydrafacials, dermaplane
- Waxing
- Keravive hair restoration
- Skin Stylus
- Emsculpt
The following spa services will no longer be available after September 30, 2025:
- IV therapy
- Emsella
- B12 injections
- Laser hair reduction
Services That Will Continue at WMMC
The following services will transfer to Western Missouri Dermatology & Medical Aesthetics in October 2025:
- Botox, Dysport, Xeomin and Daxxify
- Dermal Filler
- Micro-needling
- IPL Full Face and Spot Treatments
- Light Therapy
- Medical-grade Chemical Peels
- PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma)
- Skin Consultations and Treatment Planning
- Comprehensive Dermatologic Care (e.g., acne, eczema, skin cancer screenings)
Services That Will No Longer Be Offered:
- Facial Services: Facials, Hydrafacials, Dermaplane
- Keravive Hair Restoration
- Waxing Services
- Emsella, Indiba and Emsculpt
- IV Therapy
- Laser Hair Reduction
- B12 Injections
Gift card sales are no longer available. If you currently have any existing gift cards for ReDefine they will transfer to our new location. However, they can only be applied to medical aesthetic services available at the new clinic.
Skincare Sale: Starting Monday August 11, all of our remaining skincare will be 25% off the regular retail price.
Memberships
As part of this transition, membership programs will no longer be offered. Existing memberships will be honored through August 29, 2025. We encourage you to take full advantage of your remaining membership benefits prior to that date. If you have questions about your current membership status, remaining services, or available credits, please contact our team and we’ll be happy to assist.
